Dude, did you even read this? It is not Rhode Island.

I have been looking into this online for the last hour, and watching the videos of the presentation of the bill. This whole thing is so sad and slightly humorous, but people have no idea what they are talking about. I had to post here because this one was the worst. Firstly, it's a bill that's being discussed -- anyone can propose a bill. And in this case, it looks like anyone did. Check out the video of the bill discussion - people there looked either barely presentable, acted like a nutcase, or just talked as if they had never before participated in governance.

I support representatives bringing even radical bills up that are being requested by their constituents, but it is too bad that this bill has so many crazies associated with it. They take away from the very important discussion that should be had about the state powers in this modern day.

Ahh, you are correct sir, it is not. Forgive me, I have been under alot of stress lately and it must've been a freudian slip of the fingers. New Hampshire, Forgive me. I will correct the error immediately.

But you were wrong about something else. Each bill introduced must have a legislative sponsor. If you'll click the link right up above my comment, you'll see the guy who introduced this one. Speaking of videos...

At your suggestion I checked out some videos of the public hearing on the bill. I don't know which of these folks you thought were 'barely presentable' or acting 'like a nutcase'. Maybe it was the legislator with hair down to his ass, or the other one - the one with a beard. Or was it the librarian-looking lady who was representing a strong right Republican group? Wait a minute - I thought this Jeffersonian crap was a huge LEFT winged conspiracy.

It must've been the kid at the end of this video below. He's just too damned young to be talking to NH representatives.
